Children’s Ministry

Our main desire is to connect children to the truth of God’s Word, so that they can grow into a relationship with Him. We want every child to have such a great time that they want to come back again and again. We continually present children with God’s Word to help them understand truth, apply it to their lives, and to show how the whole Bible is telling one big story about Jesus.

We will, on a regular basis, share the incredible truth of the Gospel. This truth, that God sent His Son, Jesus, into a world of people who were separated from Him by their sins. Jesus died to pay the price for those sins and anyone who accepts God’s gift of salvation, through faith, has eternal life. Preschool

Our focus is not simply to entertain or provide basic childcare, but to help lay the foundations for a strong walk with Christ. Each week our workers pray for the kids, sing songs with them, and share Bible stories with them. Our commitment is to minister to the children of our community and to help introduce them to the love of Jesus. Read our monthly news letter here!

Preschool childcare is available Sunday mornings, and on occasion during special events. Some events require childcare registrations. For more info please email our Nursery Directer, Ashley, at [email protected].

Please Note

We understand the need for safety in today’s society. Therefore, we run full background screenings on all of our workers on an annual basis. We also have an electronic check-in system for all children.

Adults

In addition to our Small Groups, we have targeted Adult Bible Studies for both men and women as well as coed Adult Sunday School Classes. In each of these ministries, you will connect with Christians who will encourage you to grow in your faith, and learn more about who Jesus is and what He desires for our lives.

Our goal is that every member of Tomball Bible Church would become connected in disciple-making relationships.  These gatherings are key ways to make those connections.  We don’t expect anyone to participate in all of these studies, but getting connected in one will go a long way to make you feel at home here and to help you move forward in your relationship with Jesus.

Women Nurturing Women

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
Titus 2:3-5

Our Women’s Ministry focus this year is The Titus 2 Project, Women Nurturing Women. Please join us as we come alongside women to train, equip, and encourage women of all ages.

Small Groups

We are a family

We believe that God created us to be in community and saved us to be a part of His family, the Church. We are committed to pursuing deep relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. That is why we want every believer to be a part of a small group that meets regularly outside of our Sunday morning gathering. Our small groups have a much larger purpose than simply developing friendships; therefore, we focus our groups on building biblical community, fostering life-on- life discipleship relationships, and engaging their neighborhoods together on mission.

Get Connected

Our Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry are part of our Small Group Ministry. We offer a variety of times for our men and women to meet on campus on Monday Evenings and Tuesday Mornings with special events, such as retreats, and fellowship events throughout the year. Groups for couples are available several nights a week, in a variety of areas.

If you are interested in joining a Small Group, please fill out this form and you will be contacted. Or, if you’d like to visit a group, simply use the map below to contact the group leader to see when their next gathering is. We hope you make the choice to invest deeply into the family God has graciously given us in Christ.

If you have questions regarding small groups, contact John Hattenberger, at [email protected].

Missions

Global

At Tomball Bible Church, our goal is to see every nation reached with the Gospel of Jesus. When Jesus commanded His followers to “make disciples of all nations”, He communicated God’s passion for all peoples. Because God has chosen to redeem people from every tribe and tongue, we are committed to leveraging our collective energy and resources to world missions. We pursue this goal in three strategic ways.

Mission Education & Missionary Development

The first and most obvious element of our missions strategy is to regularly communicate the priority for the Church to focus on global ministry. It is our goal to so embed missions into the life of our church that we consistently raise up men and women committed to and prepared for cross-cultural missions.

Supported Missionaries

At Tomball Bible Church, a significant portion of our general funds go to support cross-cultural missionaries who strive to advance the Gospel in the name of Jesus, as an extension of our ministry. We have missionaries on almost every continent, who are engaged in various ministries – from translating the Bible into new languages so that the Gospel can be preached, to training local pastors and leaders, to serving the Church in other parts of the world. We view this partnership as vital and ask for your continued prayers for our supported missionaries. If you would like to see a list of our supported missionaries, please click here. You can also visit our World Mission map in the foyer of our Auditorium to pick up a card with information about them, their family and recent prayer requests.

Short-term Trips

A key element to raising up and supporting our missionaries is our involvement directly in their ministry. Through short-term mission experiences, we serve our global partners and provide opportunities for our congregation to grow in their passion for world missions.

Getting Involved

The best way to get involved is to connect with our Missions Team. The Missions Team serves the church in evaluating missionaries for support, hosting our visiting missionaries, and championing the call for global disciple-making to our congregation. To get connected with the missions team please email [email protected].

Local Partners

By God’s grace to our area, there are a number of great ministries that serve our city and advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to develop lasting partnerships with those ministries as a means of working together with other Christians to serve our city. We encourage our members and attenders to consider serving our city through these partners.
